TCL Mobile never fails to impress. They’re already up to the 60 series in mobile phones, have consistently impressed with their NXTPAPER tablets, and are working to connect the industrial side with RedCap 5G. Read on for even more exciting updates from TCL for 2025!
TCL 60 Series Smartphones
TCL has built up quite a robust lineup of phones, and the 60 series is getting even more depth with more features at different prices. The only downside is that many of these are for markets outside of North America, except for the TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER, which was announced back at CES.
Still, if you’re looking for a phone for the rest of the world, TCL has some great options. They’re releasing the TCL 60R 5G and 60 5G with 6.7″ screens for plenty of viewing room and octa-core processors for extra power. Meanwhile, TCL 60 SE and TCL 605 are rocking 50-megapixel hybrid cameras and MediaTek Helio G81 chipsets under the hood.
All 60-series smartphones are splash—and dust-resistant and are packaged according to TCL’s commitment to reducing material usage and packing waste.

TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus
The new NXTPAPER 11 Plus announcement refers to it as a “human-centric viewing experience”. If you’ve never encountered NXTPAPER, you may not understand, but as soon as you seamlessly move from color to eInk, you understand the appeal. It’s truly a tablet and a reading device all in one!
11 Plus enhances the experience with Smart Eye Comfort and Personalized Eye Comfort modes. Smart Eye Comfort automatically adjusts brightness, contrast, refresh rate, and other settings to fit different usage scenarios. Meanwhile, Personalized Eye Comfort analyzes your preferences via different images and intelligently generates color tones; this helps not only to personalize the visual experience but also to reduce eye fatigue.
There’s also an NXTPAPER key that brings up screen settings, as well as double- and triple-tap settings to control app and AI settings.
TCL threw some really interesting tricks in with some AI boosts. Text Assist offers to summarize, translate, and rewrite, while Writing Assist uses generative AI to help you draft emails and memos faster than ever. Stylus users can also leverage AI help with handwriting-to-text conversion that gets to know your pen movement and can easily translate your chicken scratch.
Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G100 processor with either 8GB+256GB or 12GB+256GB for plenty of speed and storage. Four speakers with DTS-enhanced audio are included, and the 11.5″, 2.2k resolution screen means you’ll see and hear everything beautifully.
TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus will retail for €249 in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.
LINKPORT IK511 and LINKHUB HH516
RedCap 5G is one of those things that isn’t top of mind for everyone but provides a ton of behind the scenes improvements. It’s 5G for the times when you need connectivity but not speed-think smartwatches, sensors in warehouses, and other use cases where the goal is to be connected, not necessarily pulling down enough power to play Call of Duty.
TCL is expanding their RedCap offerings with new LINKPORT IK511 RedCap 5G dongle and LINKHUB 5G HH516 router. Both the dongle and the router use Snapdragon processors alongside AI to best manage network traffic and keep things humming smoothly. These may not be the first thing consumers think of, but the ways they’ll keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes mean we’ll all benefit.
LINKPORT IK511 is available in the USA via T-Mobile; LINKHUB HH516 will be available in the first half of 2025 globally.
PlayCube
TCL is thin on details, but the PlayCube is a portable projector with a 2.5 hour built-in battery. It has auto-calibration and runs Google TV. The cube design makes it portable and easy to set up anywhere. No word on when to expect it or the MSRP, but we’re excited to hear and see more soon!
TCL continues to push the boundaries of mobile technology, tablets, networking, and even entertainment with its latest lineup. From the expanding 60 Series smartphones to the NXTPAPER 11 Plus, TCL is making sure users have powerful, eye-friendly, and innovative devices at their fingertips.
Meanwhile, its advancements in RedCap 5G and the upcoming PlayCube projector showcase the company’s versatility beyond traditional consumer tech.
